This category of membership is for individual trainers, commercial training organisations, FE and HE colleges and universities, delivering land-based academic and skills training, needing to keep abreast of industry news and developments.

Steps to becoming a Training Provider member:

  1. Make an enquiry online or by phone and complete the application form
  2. Internal vetting takes place. The Association checks all submitted documents
  3. Upon vetting an invoice for the membership fee is issued
  4. Once paid the member has access to various member benefits

Key member benefits include:

  • Entry into Who’s Who Landscape Directory
  • Attend regional events, technical workshops and online meetings
  • Company profile on the website

British Association of Landscape Industries and ROLO Training Provider

Individual trainers, commercial training organisations, FE and HE colleges and universities, delivering land-based academic and skills training, needing to keep abreast of industry news and developments. Training Provider Membership keeps them in touch with the industry and with the potential employers of the students they are training and ROLO (Register of Land-based Operations) membership accredits the organisation for the delivery of the ROLO course. Your business must have been trading for at least two years.

Six application form requirements:

Copy of company letterhead Copy of public liability insurance Three client references where similar training has been undertaken
Up-to-date copy of instructors CV Recognised regulated qualifications equivalent to Level 3 Award in Education & Training (RQF) Minimum of an Ofqual Accredited Level 3 Health & Safety Qualification, e.g NEBOSH General certificate, or an individual Associate/Technician/Chartered IOSH Membership.

Steps to becoming a British Association of Landscape Industries and ROLO Training Provider:

  1. Submit the application form and pay the application fee
  2. Internal vetting takes place. The Association will check all documents submitted and references will be contacted
  3. An invoice for membership fees will be issued
  4. Once paid, the Association will activate membership, giving member access to a suite of benefits

Key member benefits include:

  • Free student member benefits
  • ROLO accreditation and exclusive use of the ROLO logo
  • Entry into Who’s Who Landscape Directory
  • Company profile on the website
