Transition from PEACH to IPAFFS postponed

The transition from the current system - PEACH - used to pre-notify Defra of imports of plants and plant materials to the new system -IPAFFS- is due to complete during August 2021 rather than June 2021 as initially planned. 

From July 2021, Defra will invite small groups of traders to start using IPAFFS as a trial, before opening registration to other importers in August 2021.  All importers are advised to continue using PEACH until contacted to register for IPAFFS.

Defra have assured users transitioning from PEACH to IPAFFS they will be supported by webinars, online video tutorials, written support and guidance materials.
