RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 2023

27 Jun 2023 | BALI News

We are still celebrating the success of our members at last month's RHS Chelsea Flower Show, but we're now looking forward to RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, being held on 4 - 9 July 2023.

The Association will be on trade stand HC502, promoting ourselves and our members' products and services to the public. The RHS shows provide a fantastic opportunity to interact with garden enthusiasts to raise awareness of the amazing work Association members carry out and the importance of using an Accredited Professional.

We have a number of our Accredited Contractors building gardens, as well as Accredited Suppliers exhibiting at the show.

Accredited Contractors Landscape Associates, supported by Accredited Supplier ACO are working together on the RHS Resilient Garden, a feature garden, designed to demonstrate how gardens and green spaces can be more adaptable in a warming climate and resilient in the face of extreme weather events such as heatwaves or heavy rainfall. Landscape Associates won the Best Construction Award (Sanctuary Garden) for The National Brain Appeal's Rare Space show garden at RHS Chelsea, along with a Gold medal. They were also awarded Silver-Gilt medals for The Royal Entomological Society Garden, The RSPCA Garden and The School Food Matters Garden.

Fresh from their Silver-Gilt medal wins at RHS Chelsea, Accredited Contractor Landform Consultants is building The Landform Mental Wealth Garden. A get-started garden, which aims to inspire all who are new to gardening, this garden aims to promote the feeling of well-being by using scent and beautiful planting to lift the spirits. Its design is structurally inspired by the parterre, with a mixture of planting influenced by aromatic and pollinator-friendly ornamentals.

Get started garden, The Inghams Working with Nature Garden is being built by Accredited Contractor Acacia Gardens. The garden takes inspiration from summer holidays, with the use of natural stone for gravel tracks and large stone-bench seating, for resting amid the sound of water from running streams and the cool glade planting.

BALI Equity Ambassador and Garden Designer, Mark Lane, has created the RHS-BBC Morning Live Budget-Friendly Garden. With households across the UK looking for ways to save money amid the cost of living crisis, the RHS and BBC Morning Live (Mark Lane is the resident gardener for the show) have joined forces to help keep the nation growing for their health and well-being this summer with a garden full of cost-effective tips and creative take-home ideas that won’t break the bank.
