Green-tech is celebrating after being awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 status for the 11th year running.

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are two of the ISO's most well-known quality standards, implemented by over a million organisations throughout the world.

ISO 9001 is a Quality Management System (QMS) which gives organisations a systematic approach for meeting customer objectives and providing consistent quality. ISO 14001 is an Environmental Management System (EMS) for measuring and improving environmental impact.

Green-tech has recently undergone a rigorous two-day audit to retain its accreditation status. Demonstrating that company has been able to meet and evidence how the business processes have been adapted to meet the changing ISO requirements.

By achieving ISO 9001 a company is committing to continuous improvement. This status can be retracted if they are unable to demonstrate that progress is maintained. To continue to meet this standard Green-tech needed to demonstrate that they have a robust and structured Quality Management System in place which shows consistency and continuous improvement in their service.

ISO 14001 requires Green-tech to manage their environmental impact. The company had to demonstrate that they have an sufficient environmental policy plan in place to manage their environmental impact.

The British Assessment Bureau is a leading Certification Body, that carries out the independent assessment to confirm and document that Green-tech runs its business in accordance with these rigorous standards.

Green-tech’s Business Development Director Mark Wood comments:

“I am delighted that we have passed our audit with flying colours. We put a lot of effort into continuously maintaining and improving our quality standards and the audits are very detailed so its always great to hear we’ve stood up to scrutiny. There are very few companies within our industry that have this accreditation so I hope others will follow our lead. It really does give our customers and suppliers reassurance of our commitment to becoming a more sustainable organisation whilst delivering a quality service and products.”
