The big questions facing landscaping: BALI speakers bring insight to GroundsFest

Leading the expert insight that BALI is bringing to the seminar stages at GroundsFest, Sarah Potrykis, Head of Membership, and Amy Cobbett, Head of Policy and Public Affairs, will be sharing practical advice and the latest intelligence affecting the landscape industry.

While Sarah’s session focuses on how businesses can make the most of the opportunities available today, Amy Cobbett will take a broader look at what lies ahead for the sector.

Amy will reveal the findings of BALI’s second annual Lay of the Land report, providing a snapshot of the trends, challenges and opportunities currently influencing landscaping businesses.

The report explores issues ranging from environmental priorities, including water use and biodiversity, to business pressures such as AI adoption, cash flow, regulation and red tape. It also examines business confidence and sets out BALI’s calls for government to create the right conditions to enable greater growth across the landscape sector.

Together, the sessions offer visitors two different but complementary perspectives: how businesses can build their own future success, and how the wider industry needs to evolve to achieve sustainable growth.
