Angus Crichton

Angus joined ACO in January 2023 from a background in publishing. Over the last five years, he has designed and built an integrated rainwater management system in his own property, where rainwater is harvested off the roof for reuse in an automated garden irrigation system and within the property, and then infiltrated into the ground through a soakaway. The opportunities, challenges and limitations of this project provided the route to his current role at ACO. He is convinced we need to reimage our use of rainwater in the domestic setting away from a risk to be removed to a positive resource to be stored, reused and either infiltrated on site or slowly released into water courses, or as last resort, the sewerage system.
