Road safety researchers seek industry help

29 Sep 2022 | Technical News

National Highways are collaborating with Imperial College London on a research study titled Managing Work-Related Road Risk at the Workplace with the intention of identifying work-related road safety risks and developing countermeasures in reducing work-related road risk.

Researchers are currently seeking people who drive as part of their job, who are willing to complete a questionnaire which will help researchers understand how people who drive for work perceive safety and find out more about safety regulations within the places of work.

The questionnaire has three sections and takes about 25 minutes to be completed. After completing the questionnaire, respondents will be asked if they would like to enter a draw with the chance of winning one of five £30 Amazon vouchers. Those who would like to enter the draw will be asked for their email address.

Respondents email address will only be used to contact winners and will not be used to identify individual respondents.

Note: The data acquired from this study will only be used for research purposes. No data will be sent to employers.  More information about the study is provided on the participants information sheet in the further reading section, below. For any questions and queries, please do not hesitate to contact the research team via email: m.kalantzi22@imperial.ac.uk.
