Registration opens for Plant Health Export Service (PHES)

06 Oct 2021 | Technical News

Exporters of plants, plant products or plant produce can now register to use the Plant Health Export Service (PHES).

PHES will replace the current system, eDomero, and aims to offer a service which is faster, more efficient and provides a modern and user-friendly interface for traders to submit applications.

To help ease the transition from eDomero to PHES, Defra are holding several walkthrough webinar sessions to show users how to register and submit export notifications, as well as issuing guidance material. See the ‘Further reading’ section of this page for more information.

The transition from eDomero to PHES will take place over the coming weeks, and users are advised the ability to raise new export notifications on eDomero will be restricted following the transition period.

For exports from Scotland, please continue with existing procedures, or for more information contact hort.marketing@gov.scot
