23 Mar 2023 | Industry News

The Scotland's Gardens Cattanach Fund is a new grant scheme for horticulturists in Scotland that has been launched in 2023. The grant scheme offers a maximum award of £1,500 (with an average award of £750) to support personal and professional development training related to horticulture. This fund has been made possible by the generous bequest of Mr. Albert Cattanach, a frequent visitor to SGS' open gardens.

To be eligible for the grant, you must be over 16 years of age and working or training in horticulture in Scotland. Eligible projects include courses, study tours, training, and in exceptional cases, overseas study tours. However, the funds cannot be used for purchasing tools or equipment, unless they are directly related to a specific course.
