The British Association of Landscape Industries memorialised former National Chairman John O’Conner with a tree planting on Tuesday 30 March 2021.

John has been part of the Association family for a long time. He served as National Chairman from 2006-2008 and was an active member of our North Thames region, serving on its committee for years.

The tree, a purple beech, was planted at the Priory Memorial Gardens in Royston, Hertfordshire.

In attendance were British Association of Landscape Industries’ Chief Executive, Wayne Grills, the current serving National Chairman Richard Kay, John’s daughter Liz O’Conner, Ian Pitkin and Matt O’Conner, Managing Director of John O’Conner (Grounds Maintenance).
