Green-tech raises over £250 for Henshaws

17 Dec 2020 | BALI Member News

Friday 11 December, National Christmas jumper day, saw the Green-tech team pull out all the stops to raise just over £250 for Henshaws, their charity of choice for 2021.

North Yorkshire based Henshaws works with children and adults living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities. The charity aims to empower them to take steps to change their lives for the better. Green-tech staff have chosen to support Henshaws throughout 2021.

The Green-tech team aims to raise over £1000 over the next 12 months through various events and initiatives. Their Just Giving total currently stands at £752 so they look set to achieve and most likely beat their target.

All staff entered the Christmas spirit and wore their festive jumper; the day was rounded off with a Christmas lunch and all the trimmings.

Chairman Richard Kay comments:

Henshaws really are a fantastic charity and 2021 has hit them very hard.  I’m pleased that we can play our small part and raise some much-needed funds for them.  Without funds Henshaws and other small charities simply won’t survive and that’s unthinkable, so we must keep supporting them. I’m proud that I can rely on the Green-tech team to show compassion and dig deep.
