Date announced for 50th anniversary gala celebrations!
Tickets are now available to the Association’s gala dinner, being hosted to commemorate 50 years of the Association and landscaping excellence! The special event will be held on Thursday 15 September 2022 at The Vox, Birmingham, and aims to bring the industry together for an evening of celebration, reminiscing and meeting friends and colleagues past and present. The gala dinner will follow the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), hosted earlier in the day.
50 glorious years
In April 2022 the Association began to mark its 50th anniversary year and revealed a commemorative logo and an exciting annual plan of celebrations and activities to shine a spotlight on members’ achievements; celebrate their successes and thank them for their continued support.
Since its creation in 1972, the Association has flourished into the UK’s leading Trade Association for landscape professionals. Remaining true to its core values to support, promote and inspire its members and be leaders of an environmentally, ethically, and commercially sustainable landscape industry, the Association has grown to close to 1,000 Accredited members including landscape contractors, landscape architects, garden designers, suppliers and training providers.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place 11.30am – 3.30pm on Thursday 15 September 2022 at The Vox, Birmingham. An array of top guest speakers will present on a variety of subjects including sustainability and diversity in addition to Chief Executive, Wayne Grills.
Wayne Grills, Chief Executive of the Association said:

Our members are core to everything that we do, and we look forward to welcoming them to listen to a full programme of inspirational guest speakers at the AGM, prior to an evening of celebration at the commemorative gala dinner.”
AGM details:
• 11.30am: Arrival and lunch
• 12.30pm: Annual General Meeting followed by a presentation of the new Association strategy from Chief Executive, Wayne Grills
• 1.45pm: First speaker and Q&A
• 2.45pm: Second speaker and Q&A
• 3.30pm: Close
Gala dinner
The gala dinner celebration aims to bring members, guests, and their industry connections past and present together for an evening of celebration at the stunning Midlands venue, The Vox, Birmingham. It will be an opportunity to not only mark the achievements of the past fifty years, but to look ahead to an exciting future.

• 7pm: Drinks Reception
• 8pm: Welcome from the Association
• 8.15pm: Three-course gala dinner. Live band and dancing
• 12am: Carriages
