Ellicar and Landscapeplus are teaming up to bring you an inspiring CPD session covering everything you need to know about natural swimming pools & in-lite outdoor lighting.

The in-lite academy is a hands-on session designed to give you the confidence to specify and install outdoor lighting. From essential terminology to practical installation techniques, you’ll learn how to specify and install a complete in-lite system, explore the differences between the standard and SMART systems, and dive into key topics such as zoning, fitting placement, and achieving the perfect lighting effect. Plus, we’ll show you how to control your outdoor lighting effortlessly using the in-lite app.

In the afternoon, the experts from Ellicar will lead a session on natural swim pools covering:

• Design, location and sizing of a natural pool
• Construction methods, drainage requirements, advantages of reinforced concrete and concrete-free pools
• Biological and hydro-botanical filtration and water balancing equipment to maintain hygienic and safe swimming water
• Maintenance and water management requirements
• Client expectations, health and wellness benefits, advantages over chemical pools
• Ecological Benefits and site biodiversity
• Heating vs natural solar gain
• Aquatic and poolside planting schemes
• Construction and installation guide costs

There will be a practical session at Ellicar's own award-winning natural pool, where we'll look at layout, design, planting in and around the water, and enjoy a maintenance equipment demonstration. You'll even have the opportunity for a swim*

Parking: to kindly park on the grass verge on the left-hand side on the outside of the black metal gates and make your way in through the pedestrian gate. Our offices are located on the left-hand side within the plant yard and will be well signposted on the day.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

*There are basic changing facilities on site, but please bring swimming gear, a towel, and something to wrap up warm in afterwards.
