VMT ROLO Operatives in person or online

The ROLO Operative course is designed for individuals working within landscaping, arboriculture, ecology and grounds maintenance who require a solid understanding of health, safety and environmental responsibilities on site. Through VMT’s hybrid learning model, delegates complete flexible online learning before attending a tutor-led session, either in-person at our Islip Training Centre or online via Teams, that reinforces key principles through discussion and practical workplace examples.

The course covers core topics including health and safety legislation, hazard awareness, risk assessments, environmental protection, wellbeing and safe working practices. Delegates gain the knowledge needed to work safely, contribute to a positive safety culture and meet industry expectations on site.

Delivered by experienced industry professionals, the programme provides an engaging and relevant introduction to site safety and environmental responsibility, leading to the ROLO qualification and supporting relevant LISS/CSCS SmartCard applications.
