The future is bright ? and here next week at FutureScape 2018!

14 Nov 2018 | BALI Member News

The future is literally right around the corner for BALI and its members as they make last minute preparations for this year’s FutureScape, one of the most successful industry trade events for landscaping, garden design, grounds maintenance and supply.

BALI is proud to be supporting the Eljays44 operated event which once again returns to Sandown Park Racecourse in leafy Esher in Surrey on Tuesday 20 November. BALI’s stand number is 89 and is located in the Surrey Hall. Both BALI’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Darren Taylor, and Education Officer Stephen Ensell will be in attendance, supporting both BALI and its members and promoting GoLandscape.

With 168 exhibitors lined up for 2018, 38% (63 companies) are BALI Registered members.

The event, held annually, is held in high regard by many landscape professionals for its excellent networking opportunities, quality visitor numbers and topical debates. This year the seminar programme is just as impressive. The main Pro Landscaper Theatre plays host to five talks, including a 10:00am focus on ‘The Next Generation’, ‘Plant Disease affects us all’ at 11:00am, ‘Design – it all starts with a design’ at 14:00pm, ‘Let’s hear it from – The Landscape Legends’ at 15:00pm and ‘One to One: Live on-stage interview with Cleve West’ at 16:00pm.

Elsewhere, the seminar line-up focuses on three specific subject areas; Business Growth, Landscape and Aftercare and Inspire, across three theatres. From digital advertising and PR, soil science and garden lighting to decking, show garden expectation, plants and achieving growth in your company, there is something for all tastes.

To close the event, organisers have chosen to shake things up a little by altering the ‘View From The Top’ format and re-branding the event as ‘The Pro Landscaper Summit’ sponsored by Fresh Horticulture careers, which will have three main elements;

-       Discover - Featuring the ’30 Under 30: The Next Generation’ award presentation

-       Debate - Topical discussions

-       Dinner – Relax and unwind with a delicious meal whilst networking with colleagues
