16 Jan 2020 | BALI Member News

On Tuesday 14 January, BALI's North Thames committee was joined by over 35 BALI Registered members at the regional AGM 2020. A record number of attendees travelled to Beales Hotel, located in Hatfield, to cast important votes to help shape the future of their Association and listen to two guest speakers.

Organised by BALI's Regional Support Officer and the North Thames committee, the event saw a successful turnout of Registered members and students proactively taking part in the AGM where members voted on a range of matters. BALI North Thames Chairmain, Darren Skidmore, provided an uplifting presentation with an update from the region, with a focus on the events for the year ahead whilst keeping guests entertained and engaged throughout.

BALI's Chief Executive Wayne Grills presented an update from BALI Landscape House which provided members with an overview of the various areas of membership they can get involved with, his involvement with lobbying in Government, BALI's activities from the previous year as well as looking ahead to the next membership year.
