Springbridge hope to inspire more women get behind the wheel

International Women's Day 2023, a poignant date in the Springbridge diary
 
Accredited Supplier, Springbridge is a family run firm founded over 30 years ago by the Hawkins family based in Denham Buckinghamshire. The company is a primarily a supplier of a range of high quality Top soils and related landscaping products. Springbridge own their fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) consisting of 4-wheelers, Artics, 8-wheel Grabbers and Tippers.
 
Managing Director, Tom Hawkins believes that Springbridge are inspiring the industry by hiring Aniko Targuba and Justyna Debska (pictured below) as part of their team of 20 drivers. In an industry where there are just 1-2% of HGV drivers identify as female in the UK*, this is a huge accomplishment. Together with a team strong of fifteen women working across the business in Accounts, Marketing, Transport, Sales and Operations Springbridge is truly raising the bar in the industry.

This year, International Women's Day marked a poignant date in the diary for Springbridge. Highlighting this as a progressive company, setting an example for other businesses in the future, and most of all, recognising the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
