Provender Nurseries create Going Green range

Collated from their present stock range and in response to customer requests for environmentally friendly products, Provender Nurseries have grouped all shop products that are either organic, wildlife friendly, child and pet friendly or have natural ingredients as their main components to create the Going Green range.

Dan Brown, Sundries Manager at Provender Nurseries said:

We had quite a few enquiries for environmentally friendly products with many of our customers not realising we already held these products in stock.  As a response we reviewed our current sundries and collated all relevant products together to create the Going Green range.  Creating the range has helped as a training exercise for our sales team and we are delighted to be able to offer the Going Green range as a result.  We will continue to add to the Going Green range as we look for new products.

The Going Green range is comprehensive covering a wide range of sundries including lawn feeds, plant fertilisers, insecticides, natural pest and disease control, fungicides, mulches, soil improvers and wild flower seeds.

Richard Burt, Sales Director added:

We are really pleased to be able to offer products to match our customer requirements.  We already do much behind the scenes on site using recycled pots for potting on growing stock and our range of Lavenders grown at Hadlow College in peat free compost and kerbside recyclable pots which are proving a big hit with our customers.

Provender Nurseries are always researching into new environmentally friendly products. Now stocking Elho Pots, a range of pots made from recycled plastic that is UV resistant.
