Oak View Landscapes Achieves Prestigious Investors in People Platinum Accreditation

Platinum is the highest level of accreditation possible to achieve on our We invest in people accreditation.

It means policies and practices around supporting people are embedded in every corner of Oak View Landscapes and in a platinum company, everyone – from the Managing Director to a trainee landscape operative – knows they have a part to play in the company doing well and is always looking for ways to improve.

We have been on some journey since our late Operations Director Jakki Jenner started the IIP programme in 2016 where we were initially awarded Silver level. With Jakki leading we worked tirelessly with our practitioner Simon Allsop and gained Gold accreditation three years later in 2019 and retaining it in 2022.

After the tragic loss of Jakki in December 2021 I took the lead and with her legacy in mind continued to drive for excellence putting our people at the forefront of all our strategic decision making.

The results were outstanding we scored 873 out of 900 (97%) placing Oak View Landscapes 40th in the 1-49 Employee category. I have always said that our people are our best asset, and this award is testament to that, in the current climate with a skills shortage it is imperative that we remain a market leader and an employer of choice in our sector.”
