New fire guidance from the Green Roof Organisation

The BALI-affiliated Green Roof Organisation (GRO) has published a best practice guide for the fire performance of green roofs in the UK.
It updates and builds on existing government guidance on this issue from 2013 and is informed by recent discussions with the Building Safety Regulator.
The guide breaks down the government guidance by paragraph and provides guidance on both the minimum requirements and GRO best practice.
Both internal and external fire spread risks are addressed, with other useful sections on regulatory requirements and purpose groups.
The GRO has also published a range of other useful guides on its website, covering topics such as the design of green roofs and the design of biosolar roofs specifically.
