Melcourt Awarded a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty The Queen

Melcourt Industries are delighted to share that they have been awarded a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty The Queen. A Royal Warrant of Appointment is granted as a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to HM The Queen, HRH The Prince of Wales or their households.

To achieve such a prestigious accolade, Melcourt have been a supplier to the Royal Household for more than 6 years. Furthermore they had to submit a detailed questionnaire about the Company, its charitable activities and environmental credentials.

Melcourt is now unique in being the only supplier of these types of horticultural products to have been awarded Royal Warrants by both HM The Queen as well HRH Prince Charles.

Melcourt was established in 1983 and in those days supplied bulk loose loads of bark mulch to local authorities and landscape contractors. Over time the business has evolved and the company now also supplies market-leading peat-free composts to garden centres, builders’ merchants and professional growers.
