Makita branches out with its new pruning saw
Makita has launched its latest powerful and compact UC029G 40VMax XGT Brushless Pruning Saw, built for high-performance cutting in landscaping and arborist applications.
The UC029G weighs just 1.3kg (without a battery), and is highly compact with an ergonomic grip, making it comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Also, the tool has been designed with optimised balance for comfortable overhead or one-handed operation.
The pruning saw has a larger motor compared to competitor products, allowing for smoother cutting of shrubs and small branches. Additionally, the high-efficiency brushless motor ensures less friction is generated, which translates into more power, and longer runtime as well as offering the additional advantage that replacement brushes are not needed, keeping future maintenance costs down.
The UC029G delivers professional grade cutting performance, tackling fast, clean cuts through branches and timber with impressive torque and efficiency. Quick and easy chain tensioning can be achieved without additional tools, as well as having an automatic chain lubrication feature, which is ideal for minimising disruption to workflow.
The additional safety features, including an anti-restart function and an electric brake ensure operator safety and ensure the tool is protected from damage during use over time. Built to withstand harsh environments and tough outdoor conditions, the UC029G has an IPX4 rating making it suitable for use even when its raining.
