George Davies Turf acquires former family-run business St Albans Stone

Established in 2002 by Mike Johnson in London Colney, St Albans Stone has become renowned for its expertise in importing and selling natural stone products, alongside a diverse selection of landscaping materials such as Flagstones, Aggregates, and other landscaping essentials. 

With a large yard conveniently situated on the outskirts of St Albans, customers have travelled from all over to view the wide range of products available and receive practical advice about their garden project from Mike and his team.

This personal service and hands-on advice is something Accredited Supplier, George Davies Turf and their award-winning customer service team look forward to continuing as they take on the business and bring an exciting new range of products to their existing portfolio.

 Reflecting on the acquisition, George Davies expressed:

“I’ve known Mike for many years, and we’ve always had a lot of respect for each other having built our businesses from scratch. I’m delighted to be able to grow the business even further and to offer our customers a complete one-stop shop for all their landscaping needs, from turf, topsoil and decking to paving and much more.
