CITB revokes 316 HS&E test results following fraud investigation
The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) has taken action following an investigation into suspected malpractice at a UK test centre, resulting in the revocation of multiple Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) test results.
CITB has been investigating ITC JFG Construction Solutions Ltd (89993) a test centre which is suspected of participating in a large-scale fraud involving CITB Health Safety & Environment Tests (HS&E) which is required if applying for a LISS card to obtain access to some construction sites. This may have resulted in some candidates being issued with CSCS cards without having undertaken any form of training or legitimate testing.
CITB has taken the decision to revoke all HS&E tests taken at this centre and we are now writing to all affected candidates to inform them of this action and confirm that their HS&E Test is now showing as void on the CITB system.
A total of 316 candidates are having their tests revoked by CITB. Candidates are being given a voucher by CITB, free of charge, to re-take their test at a Pearson VUE test centre within the next 3 months.
If you have any queries from candidates whose test results have been revoked, please email hsetestdev@citb.co.uk
