Accredited contractor, The Garden Design Company opens ‘THE GARDEN DESIGN STUDIO’

After nearly 30 years designing and creating BALI award winning gardens, The Garden Design Company Ltd has opened 'The Garden Design Studio' in Goring-on-Thames High Street to offer a fabulous space for the public and garden designers to seek inspiration and to discuss their garden projects.
 
Crucially the studio provides a chance to touch, feel and compare a range of stunning materials ranging from natural stone through to composite decking, with gorgeous garden furniture featured at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
 
Portfolios and magazine articles that chronical the award winning creations of The Garden Design Company are also available to inspire, with our in-house design team being readily available to offer face to face advice.
 
Meanwhile, front of house has been transformed into a stunning and unique retail shop with a fabulous range of English grown house plants, locally sourced cut flowers from Green and Gorgeous, living picture frames, bonsais, garden gifts and accessories including ceramics, glassware plus quality tools including Niwaki.
 
The emphasis is on UK produced goods that are from small producers and artisans, to ensure that the shop's offering is truly unique, eye catching and sustainable with plastic being kept to a minimum.
 
Founder and Director Rob Jones commented:

‘The new Studio provides us with a unique High Street presence and a fabulous new home for our in-house design team and back office staff, for significant recent growth has meant we really needed a new permanent home. The studio will bring together our in-house design team working alongside the back office team to facilitate far closer collaboration and communication.

The stunning range of materials and advice on offer will inspire garden owners and fellow designers alike, transforming garden problems into garden solutions. Such a face to face offering will, for many, be a welcome contrast to the overwhelming and perplexing offering provided online.
 
Meanwhile the retail shop has already turned many heads with a mouth-watering range of house plants, garden accessories and gorgeous gifts. And whilst many High Streets are facing challenging times, the new Studio will build on the fabulous range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants that Goring is already blessed with.’
