BALI letter template on limiting liability in contracts now available
Following our campaign launch in the autumn, BALI has now published a letter template to help members push back against uncapped liability as well as indirect and consequential loss provisions in grounds maintenance contracts
Members can download the letter template by clicking here, before tailoring the highlighted parts to your client and sending it directly in support of contract negotiations.
The letter, signed by Ian Ludgate, BALI’s Technical Manager, channels growing concern among members around contractual risk allocation in grounds maintenance contracts and highlights the impacts on landscaping businesses.
It also puts forward solutions around liability and loss provisions and invites further discussion with BALI on how a fairer contractual framework might be realised across the sector.
Meanwhile, BALI’s Policy Team continues to argue for fairer contractual allocation through its wider lobbying efforts, including consultation responses and meetings with officials.
