Do Commercial Water Features Need Draining? Why They Run All Year
Commercial water features typically run all year round. They don't necessarily need draining for the winter, the summer or any other season. The only reason to drain one is maintenance: a repair, a leak to find, a deep clean, resurfacing or a refurbishment. When the work is done, the feature is refilled and running again. (The only exception to this is where a feature is drained for safety reasons such as a risk of ice on a dry plaza.)
