Our popular CORE-TEN steel edging was specified by the designer for this project in Radlett - Hertfordshire. Using a variety of depths to help create a neat edge to the lawns (65mm steel edging face height) and also to retain soil at a change of level between path and borders in a kitchen garden area (150mm face height). Held in stock and UK manufactured, CORE Edge has a double lock mechanism that allows long runs to be assembled above ground and therefore saves installation time - with no specialist tools required.

Specified by The Garden Company LTD for a project in Bedfordshire our CORE DRIVE 50-35 (Heavy Duty) was ideal to cope with the day to day traffic this driveway would encounter. Alongside it being low cost and easy to maintain it is eco friendly and SUDS compliant. In stabilising the gravel it reduced the amount of gravel required to cover the driveway surface and also prevents the gravel migrating towards the edge of the driveway where it meets the borders and lawns of the property.

TREE PROTECTION SYSTEM - WEST LONDON

We were asked to provide advice and a cost effective solution for a difficult site where a school had been unable to succesfully gain planning permission to extend their car park due to 3 trees with TPO's within the vicinity.

Working alongside the school and council we suggested our TRP System to protect the roots of the trees with TPO's and marry this up with our heavy duty gravel stabiliser across the site to provide an even surface finished off with gravel across the extended and improved car park.

RESIN BOUND STONE AND ARTIFICIAL LAWN INSTALLATION SOLVES WATERLOGGED GARDEN

The rear garden had a natural stream and large pond. The high water table contributed to the extremely wet ground for the majority of the year, with two dogs and five children the clients wanted a surface that would be usable even in the wetter months, that would be low maintenance and easy to keep clean. A large kitchen extension was added with bi-fold doors providing excellent access to the rear patios which created a great opportunity to combine the outside and inside space. 

WELL DRAINED PARKING SURFACE FOR OVERFLOW CAR PARK

Main contractors Matrix Parking solutions were contracted by the landlord Corporate Estates to provide additional parking at a shared office facility in Henley-on-Thames. The proposed area was a very old macadam surface that had totally broken down leaving a messy surface with various pot holes and puddles for office workers to avoid whilst using the car park. The area had no working drainage system in place. The clients wanted a free draining surface that would not require constant maintenance and could handle the frequent car use.
 
 

VEHICULAR ACCESS USING GEOTRACK WITH CORE GEOCELL AND GALVANISED ANCHORS

The level was set to allow the surface of the track to sit slightly proud of the surrounding field. Core geocell was expanded over the area and held open in place using Core galvanised metal anchors. Recycled stone and subsoil were deposited into the cellular structure and re compacted, with the edges of the track being filled and graded with the remaining subsoil to blend into the field. The entire works area was seeded with a wild meadow seed mix.
