Who is a commercial client?

A commercial client is any individual or organisation that carries out a construction project as part of a business.

What are my roles when working for a commercial client?

Single contractor projects

Where there is only one contractor working on a commercial construction project, there are likely to be 3 dutyholders.  The contractor will normally take the role of contractor and designer in single contractor projects.
