ROLO Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness Course

This is a one day course and the main topics covered during the course are the following: 

·  The importance of working safely

·  Hazard spotting and controlling risks

·  Accident/Incident & near miss reporting

·  Behavioural safety

·  Health & welfare

·  Emergency preparedness

·  PPE

·  Noise & vibration

·  Hazardous substance

·  Manual handling

·  Plant, equipment and vehicles

·  Safety signs

·  High risk activities

·  Environmental awareness

The qualification is assessed by an end of course 30 minutes assessment, made up of 35 multi-choice questions and you need to get at least 27 out of 35 correct to pass. If you score 25 or 26 out of 35, you can complete a follow-up assessment immediately on the day. If you score 24 or less, you will need to resit training and the assessment at a future date.
