Charity football match details

Join us for a fun afternoon, come along individually and we'll team you up with 4 or 6 other players, or bring a full team.

Get ready to battle it out against other teams for the chance to claim the coveted Trophy, proudly to be displayed in the winner's offices.

We'll provide access to the 5-a-side pitch with qualified referees to oversee the games. If needed, bibs will be available, and there will be opportunities for team photographs. After the football excitement, facilities for showering and changing will be available. Then, unwind and network over refreshments and pizzas provided for each team in the bar.

*Please note* Members can book a team of up to 7 players for £275. To arrange this, contact Regional Support Officer, Francesca Bienek.

About Thrive

Thrive, a charity based in Kings Heath, Birmingham, offers therapeutic gardening programs to those with specific health, social, or educational needs. Using social and therapeutic horticulture (STH) methods, their trained therapists work with plants and people to enhance physical and psychological well-being, communication, and cognitive skills.

Their approach is person-centred, offering support in small groups to maximise therapeutic benefits, one-to-one for those needing extra assistance, and larger groups for social interaction, discussions, and group learning.

Located in the old TV gardens within King’s Heath Park, Thrive provides a safe and private space for its clients, therapists, and volunteers. Additionally, they conduct various outreach projects within the wider community.
