details
The ROLO Operative courses are an introductory health and safety qualification and a precursor to obtaining a LISS/CSCS card. The training covers the basics of Health & Safety law, regulations, risk assessment, hazard awareness, protective equipment, electrical awareness, excavations, work at height, PUWER, LOLER and more.
ROLO is a prerequisite for anyone applying for a LISS/CSCS SmartCard. Certificates are valid for five years, but applicants must ensure the course has been completed within the last two years when applying for a LISS/CSCS SmartCard. Before the five years runs out, the relevant refresher course can be completed.
This is a 1-day ROLO course delivered face-face (including Teams) in our training facilities at Tapton Innovation Centre. You will need to have a suitable internet connection. The test will follow at the end of the day and can be completed by a tablet, laptop or mobile phone.
