Following the commitment from Board Director, Richard Gill to reignite the Supplier Forum in 2024, we have organised a fantastic, informative and FREE day focused on Biodiversity Net Gain. With BNG legislation introduced in February 2024, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the regulations, and hear from other supplier businesses about how they have incorporated BNG into their working practices.

This event is being hosted by Nicholson Nurseries at their prestigious nursery, centrally located in Oxfordshire.

We have a fantastic line up of speakers, covering a range of knowledge and experience relating to BNG and the new legislation.

Meet the presenters

Ecosulis

At Ecosulis, we specialise in making our clients' nature restoration ambitions a reality, delivering habitat design and nature recovery initiatives that leave a positive, enduring legacy. Tanya Narshi is an accomplished biologist specialising in ecology and conservation, with a Master’s degree from Imperial College London in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation, and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leicester. Presently, she contributes her expertise to Ecosulis, within the project development team, where she focuses on innovative rewilding and conservation strategies.

GeoGrow

GeoGrow are specialists in geotechnical engineered solutions for erosion control and earth retention, providing green solutions for construction and landscaping infrastructure projects. As the manufacturer, designer, and installer of the Rootlok Vegetated Wall System, we provide a green solution that reinforces facing walls and slopes for both land and water applications. Not only does this system enhance the natural environment, but it also promotes real biodiversity net gains. 

John Chambers

John Chambers Wildflower Seed has advised, designed and supplied Wildflower mixes for over 40 years. The specialist John Chambers team have continued John’s legacy since the business was acquired in 2013 and recently celebrated 10 years of working with Landscapers, Ecologists, Garden Designers, Landscape Architects, Landowners, Land Managers, Wildlife-lovers and more. For the last 18 months the John Chambers team have been researching and investigating Biodiversity Net Gain and now the legislation is in place have been instrumental in creating the interactive BNG map for use by architects and contractors alike on best practice in habitat creation and restoration

Georgia Gilbert has played a leading role in preparing John Chambers for the introduction of BNG and was instrumental behind the creation of our BNG map.

Roger McGivern - as business manager, Roger will be looking at how we can implement the BNG requirements into our sales strategy and looking to understand how we can make the most of the opportunities and challenges it presents us with as a business.

Ian Dudley is division manager for the Landscape team. Ian has a wealth of experience that covers many areas within landscape and green infrastructure, in particular landscape planning and representation, LVIA’s, landscape expert witness, green infrastructure and delivery, social forestry, landscape management, planning and implementation systems, sales and marketing, public speaking and community liaison.
