BALI becomes Programme Sponsor of Specifi
Due to the success and exposure generated at the Specifi Landscape events in 2019, the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) is returning as Programme Sponsor for the 2020 Specifi Landscape Roadshow Programme, in a move that sees the two organisations joining forces to provide a unique 'meet with the buyer experience', designed for landscape architects, contractors and garden designers throughout major cities in the UK.
In 2019, the roadshows provided a great opportunity for BALI to exhibit alongside some of the country’s finest landscaping suppliers, with over 600 landscaping professionals from across 350 organisations attending eight seperate events in cities including Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester.
Specifi, which is now in its 6th year of operation and has 3,000 specifier attendees nationwide, has seen rapid growth since its inception and is strongly positioned within the industry events calendar. This unique offer of a free 3-in-1 event including an inspirational speaker series, networking and dinner, all underpinned by a free bar, is perfectly positioned not only geographically but timely, within the working day. These easy to access events are central and close to transport links plus a post-work start of 5pm means they are a great alternative to costly national events not to mention the socialising benefit a free bar and dinner has to offer. Attendees are invited to relax and unwind, and, are encouraged to chink a glass with over 40 landscape architect practices and design studios, with over 70 guests in attendance at each event.
Commenting on the sponsorship, BALI’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Darren Taylor, said:
BALI are happy to further strengthen our partnership in 2020 which will help the Association continue to make new industry connections and allow us to promote BALI members directly to both design and contracting decision-makers. BALI members will also benefit from a free event that allows them to make new contacts, and hopefully, link up on exciting future commercial and domestic projects.
Chief Executive of Specifi, Paul Brooke, said:
Working with BALI in 2019 was very successful and we are looking forward to further strengthening the partnership and value the Specifi network brings in 2020.
