This two day course, running on 25th & 26th February 20201, will provide the successful delegates with a full understanding of the installation process of natural stone paving inline with all health & safety regulations and industry guidelines.

Course Content

  • An understanding of H&S, HSE, and CDM regulations and procedures required prior to commencement on site
  • In-depth product knowledge of natural stone paving
  • Demonstration of sub-bases and installation recommendations
  • Training in fall rates for both riven and sawn paving
  • Training in mortars, primers, and adhesives
  • Practical experience of laying random and regular patterns for riven & sawn paving
  • Marking out and cutting of paving safely inline with industry and HSE regulations
  • An understanding of jointing widths and compounds
