Join the North Thames regional committee for its annual regional AGM with event sponsor British Sugar TOPSOIL, special guest from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and a presentation from Bowles & Wyer on their 2020 RHS Chelsea project.

Join the BALI North Thames regional committee for its regional AGM at the Beales Hotel, where members have the opportunity to use their vote to shape their local landscape community. The event is being kindly sponsored by BALI Registered Affiliate British Sugar TOPSOIL and commences from 6.30pm.
BALI North Thames Chairman Darren Skidmore of BALI Registered Contractor Skidmores of Hertford will welcome attendees, followed by BALI's Chief Executive Wayne Grills who will provide an update on activity at BALI Landscape House. Special guest Richard McIntosh, Deputy Chief Plant Health Officer of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) will be discussing the International Year of Plant Health 2020. Finally, Managing Director of BALI Registered Contractor Bowles & Wyer, Dan Riddleston, will be sharing information on their 2020 RHS Chelsea project.
This is an opportunity for members to review the year, receive updates from BALI, network with other members from the region and feedback anything they feel BALI could improve on.
Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs - Richard McIntosh
2020 has been designated International Year of Plant Health. Richard McIntosh, Defra’s Deputy Chief Plant Health Officer, will explain why protecting the UK’s plant health status is so important, why 2020 is such a special year for plant health, and how BALI members can help play their part.
