About Reaseheath College

Reaseheath College is a further education/ higher education land based centre for Agriculture, Engineering, Construction, Countryside, Animal management, Adventure sports, Business, Equine, Public services and Horticulture. The extensive horticulture department offers City & Guilds based awards, certificates and diplomas at Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Amenity Horticulture and includes soft and hard Landscape construction, Arboriculture, Countryside, Floristry, Commercial plant production, sports turf and foundation specialism's. We deliver and host exams for the Royal Horticultural Society levels 2, 3 and 4 in the theory and practice of horticulture. Apprenticeships are offered at levels 1-4 across all disciplines and include the Greenkeeper's Training Committee formats for sports turf studies. We deliver the foundation certificate in gardening and the Diploma in Heritage gardening for the National Trust. Landscape and Garden design and management is offered at night school, as a University diploma, a foundation degree and to BSc (Hons). We also offer a foundation degree in horticulture management and other level 4 courses in Amenity horticulture, Garden history, Floristry and sports turf. Training and assessment for the NPTC Certificates of Competence for all horticultural machinery are available. Our outreach centres include Tatton Park (RHS) and Crete (Levels 2 and 3 Sports turf).
