Barcham Trees is situated between Ely and Soham in the Cambridgeshire Fens, providing a picturesque view of the beautiful Ely Cathedral. The company specialises in producing containerised trees and, over the past 35 years, has delivered more than 1.5 million trees to the UK landscape.
The trees are cultivated in their field unit before being harvested into patented Light Pots for sale in the subsequent planting season. By that time, they had developed a root system geared for success and rapid establishment. With 225,000 trees in production annually, the nursery spans an expansive 300 acres.
Barcham Trees does not purchase trees from other nurseries to supplement their orders; therefore, the availability of their stock is contingent on what they have grown themselves.
The company holds accreditation for the environmental standard ISO 14001 and has achieved 'Plant Healthy' status for its rigorous biosecurity procedures.
