To view the garden produced by Patricia Fox of Aralia Garden Design & Build, please download from the links opposite. This is the second year that Aralia Garden Design have provided the garden design for the competition. Senior Designer Tristen Knight commented: “When Aralia Garden Design were given the brief of a German themed garden, three key words sprung to mind - efficiency, precision and quality. With this in mind, the garden is based around a geometric design which maximizes the garden space but is then complemented and softened by large planting areas to give contrast. The use of sawn cut granite paving and smooth decking further enhances the feeling of precision and to give the contemporary finish desired. Central and key to the garden style is the pergola and water feature and, with the architectural and contemporary shapes used, these two elements demand attention.”
