How long is my card valid for?
Your ROLO card is valid for 5 years. If applying for a CSCS card, you can apply anytime during your ROLO cards life, however as they run in conjunction with the same expiry dates, we recommend that you renew your ROLO card if you are applying for a CSCS card in your final year.
Where can I go on a ROLO course?
Please follow the link to a list of all training providers. As the course is provided independently there is no set cost for the course. Each provider sets their own costs.
Do I need to take the CSCS test as well as the ROLO course?
If applying for just the ROLO card, then you only need to undertake a ROLO health and safety course. However, if applying for a CSCS card, then you are required to take both the ROLO health and safety course, and the CSCS test. You can find your local centre by contacting the CSCS helpline on 0870 600 4020
How much does it cost?
The ROLO health and safety course is run by training providers who will provide a cost for the course on enquiry. Application fees for the ROLO health and safety cards are:
- Blue Skilled Card: £25
- Replacement cards: £15
How long does it take to receive the cards?
Your ROLO card will be with you in approximately 10 days, and your CSCS card approximately 6 weeks.
