We were asked to redesign a roof terrace, to give better privacy as the apartment was easily viewed by other flats. The client wanted to feel enveloped by the plants, and ensure they flowered over a long time, and were classical in feel. We created height with the trees, privacy with evergreens and used a flowering pallet of white, lilac with shots of purple. Bulbs were planted to give seasonal interest. All the plants were contained in planters, and we installed a new irrigation system.
