Garden Designer Rebecca Crowley's Tour of UK Gardens
Last year’s recipient of the Geoffrey Chalk Memorial Travel Scholarship Award, Rebecca Crowley of Hallam Garden Design, has written a blog about her tour of the UKs finest gardens.
The Geoffrey Chalk Memorial Travel Scholarship fund is awarded each year to a talented young professional to further their knowledge and understanding of the landscape industry through travel. The fund can be used towards travel worldwide, however Rebecca used this opportunity to develop her knowledge of gardens a little closer to home. Rebecca impressed the Trustees with her plan to visit 38 gardens throughout the UK, Rebecca hopes to use the experience to enable her to forge a career ‘making beautiful and appropriate gardens that will age gracefully over time’.
