Aqua Gardens Gold Winning RHS Tatton Garden for ‘Chic Tranquility’

BALI Contracting Members Aqua Gardens secured a Gold Medal at the recent RHS Tatton Show, here they explain a little about the garden:

‘The 'Chic Tranquility' show garden, designed by Ceri Morgan of Outdoor Chic, was designed to create a striking contemporary garden of low maintenance, and minimal materials, planting and colour scheme to maximum effect in a relatively small area.

It is a modern day retreat from the everyday stresses that life throws in front of us by stimulating all our senses. Coloured lighting within sculptural tulip shaped lights, illuminated plant pots and strikingly simple planting schemes provide visual stimulation. Aromatic planting at varying levels providing a variety of alluring fragrances. Discreet sound systems playing soothing music combine with rippling and trickling water to create aural stimulation.

A variety of materials and forms of sculptural garden planters provide textural and tactile interest within the garden. The garden also has a selection of culinary offerings throughout the year. Rosemary, thyme and sage for your Sunday Roast, and figs, alpine strawberries and lemon grass for those more adventurous dishes.

We were originally responsible for just the design and construction of the water features but ended up using our skills to help build the whole garden.’
