BALI Director Elected to European Landscape Contractors Association board

Neil Huck, BALI’s Technical Director, has been elected to the post of Vice President of the European Landscape Contractors’ Association (ELCA).

At its presidium in Milan on June 2nd, ELCA’s 22 member countries elected board members and the new president, who is Emmanuel Mony from the French landscapers’ association. He replaces Switzerland’s Antoine Berger who was president for eight years and received BALI’s 2009 Recognition Award for his work in establishing ELCA as the voice of landscapers in Europe.

The aims of the new board are to make ELCA the foremost trade body representing the European Landscape industry and to lobby the European Parliament for more recognition of the importance of our industry in facing the environmental challenges of the future. www.elca.info
