BALI National Landscape Awards, Haymarket chosen to run the Event
BALI’s Board of Directors have announced that the Association’s prestigious BALI National Landscape Awards event will be organised by Haymarket Events with effect from the 2010 ceremony in December.
The Awards’ popularity has seen the event grow from an attendance of just over 300 in 2002 to a record 830 in 2008, and well over 700 people attended the 33rd Awards in 2009 despite the recession.
“The Awards’ success has led us to consider how best to handle the event’s development going forward” explained BALI National Chairman Richard Gardiner. “The proposal from Haymarket Events, which included promoting the BALI National Landscape Awards as the landscape industry’s premier Awards event, will bring major benefits to the Association and the wider industry.”
The entries and judging process will continue to be administered and invigilated by BALI, who have announced two new Designer categories and the acceptance of entries from BALI Probationary Members, previously unable to enter until they achieved full Contractor or Designer membership.
