BALI ISO9001 Achievement
British Association of Landscape Industries awarded ISO9001 as a sign of its quality procedures.
BSI (The British Standards Institute) awarded BALI the ISO9001 accreditation for the association’s high levels of quality working procedures. As an indication of BALI’s continuing commitment to deliver quality support and services to its membership, BALI has worked over the last 8 months to develop internal systems to ensure the standard of the services provided.
BALI Chairman Richard Gardiner commented ‘This is a very proud moment for BALI, this achievement is a symbol of BALI’s commitment to continually improving its internal standards and procedures for the long term benefit of the membership. Achieving this standard serves as recognition for the Board of Directors vision of the associations future.’
Part of this process ensures the association must continually look to measure, maintain and improve the management systems on an ongoing basis, BALI will be assessed continually to ensure standards are still met. ISO 9001 is one of the world’s most established quality frameworks, currently being used by around 897,000 organizations in 170 countries worldwide, and sets the standard not only for quality management systems, but management systems in general. It helps all kinds of organisations to succeed through improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement.
