Palmstead Nurseries Limited Harville Road Wye Ashford Kent TN25 5EUPalmstead Nurseries have announced the line up for their soft landscape workshop 2010 with Matthew Wilson and Sarah Price topping the speakers list. Andrew Wilson, Bert Griffoen and Paul Bramhill will also present on public planting and public green spaces at the event to be held on the 22nd September at the Ashford International Hotel.
Marketing manager Nick Coslett said; ‘We’re very excited about this year’s line-up of speakers and topics up for discussion. Matthew Wilson will be using his RHS and TV experience to discuss how public plantings can be more dynamic, Sarah Price designer of the 2012 World Gardens will hint at what is to be seen at the East London site, utilising plants grown on contract at Palmstead. Andrew Wilson designer and RHS Judge will look at the future of Garden Design and Dutch nurseryman Bert Griffoen will share his tips on how to establish sustainable municipal perennial plantings. And staying topical, Paul Bramhill of Greenspace will discuss how the budget cuts could affect our public green space’.
Despite the harsh economic climate and the tough financial decisions faced by entrepreneurs in the UK Palmstead want to continue to support and help their clients by holding events such as the Soft Landscape Workshop. Nick Coslett says; ‘The Workshop is a great opportunity to come together and share ideas, to share knowledge and to share our experiences from the past year. At Palmstead we like to look forward with positivity and to show that despite the harsh economic climate there is much we can do to push public planting and soft landscaping forward in a sustainable and exciting way’.
