BALI's Domestic Forum proves useful for members
News - 11 October 2018
The first of two events of its kind this October, BALI's Domestic Forum, held at Pots & Pithoi, was a success, with members and non-members in attendance commenting on how useful and informative they thought the event was for them and their businesses. Founder and Managing Director of BALI member Esse Landscapes, Steve Etheridge, said it was 'a really useful and informative evening' whilst Nick Coslett, former Marketing Manager at Palmstead Nurseries, said 'a great evening at the BALI Domestic Forum, talking contractor and designer relationships and all things plants'. There were presentations from David Dodd, Managing Director of The Outdoor Room and Pots & Pithoi, plus, Nick Coslett. Both speakers entertained the room with their own experiences working with other contractors, garden designers, as well as a focus on soft planting materials and their use in domestic schemes.
The event, which costs just £10 for BALI members, is aimed at landscape contractors and garden designers who work within a domestic capacity. The format includes a three-to-four-hour event that covers a range of domestic-focused subjects including contracts, CDM, contractor and designer relationships, the latest products and services available to industry and a fantastic line-up of award-winning guest speakers who are experts in their field.
It's the perfect opportunity to network with fellow industry colleagues and forge new partnerships with like-minded businesses offering landscaping, garden design and supply services in an informal setting.
The second Domestic Forum will be held at Majestic Trees on 16 October, with guest speakers Steve McCurdy and Daniel Riddlestone of Bowles and Wyer. You can still book a place here.
