  • Description

Professionals such as landscapers, arborists, railway, councils within the land based sector use stump grinders to remove a tree stump as other methods can be time consuming or labour intensive and in some cases not possible by any other means due to the physical nature of the task.

Stump grinders are an amazing piece of equipment that really help to ease some of the pressure and removal time of stumps, however they can be dangerous if used incorrectly for not only the user but other people working or having access to the area.

The course covers the use of self-propelled, pedestrian and tractor mounted stump grinders.

By completing this course, you will be meeting requirements under Health and Safety and in particular the PUWER regulations.
